A forgiving heart is a godly one. It’s impossible to fellowship with another person if we persist in unforgiveness. Imagine if God’s forgiveness were incomplete - how would we ever fellowship with Him for all of eternity???
Jesus Christ fulfilled the Law by fulfilling the law of love. He loved us as He loved Himself and laid down His life for us. He did all the work of paying the penalty for sin in order to allow us to live in His grace.
It's a daily opportunity; the Lord wants us to know we can't do this without Him, ever, so He has designed life so that a daily reliance on Him is needed to experience His peace.
