OUTLINE:

Gratitude
We must be grateful for the blessings we have today because there’s no guarantee they will remain forever.

Gal. 6:9-10
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Heb 12:14-15 [Amplified]
Continually pursue peace with everyone, and the sanctification without which no one will [ever] see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of God’s grace; that no root of resentment springs up and causes trouble, and by it many be defiled.

The Relationship Between God’s Commands and Grace
God’s grace is an expression of His will (e.g., love can’t help but express itself), which is always perfectly harmonious with His commands! In other words, God will never command you to do something before He enables you to do it.

1Co 2:14 [Amplified]
But the natural [unbelieving] man does not accept the things [the teachings and revelations] of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding them, because they are spiritually discerned and appreciated, [and he is unqualified to judge spiritual matters].

The Relationship Between God’s Commands and Grace

Jn 15:10-11 [Amplified]
If you keep My commandments and obey My teaching, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you these things so that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy may be made full and complete and overflowing.

Jn 16:24 [Amplified]
Until now you have not asked [the Father] for anything in My name; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy may be full and complete.

Ac 20:35b
It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Being “In Love”
There’s no better place to be, for you or for others, than abiding in the sphere of God’s love! (e.g. Jn 15: 11-14)

1Pe 4:8
Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.
