The Blessing of Knowing What You Don’t Know – 6/3/22
Your peace isn't dependent on you knowing everything; rather, it depends on you trusting in God to provide everything you need to know.

God is sovereign. Not man. God saves man. Man doesn’t decide to be saved in the absence of God’s direct intervention. (Eph 2:8-9)

“by grace through faith”
-    “by grace”:  solely by God’s power
-    “through faith”:  solely through trust in God (not self)

Jn 3:7-8
Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

The Blessing of Knowing What You Don’t Know – 6/3/22
Whatever the Lord God wills, He does. Whatever He purposes, He brings to pass. The will of the Lord cannot be thwarted. He is absolutely sovereign. If there’s one truth we ought to be comfortable with, it’s this one!

The Benefits of Faith
A faithful person is a content person because they don’t make demands on God’s Word to provide them with answers that He hasn’t ordained them to know.
There’s no way to reconcile everything in the Bible unless it’s all true.
Your life on Earth is meant to bring glory to God, not yourself.

Ro 11:36
For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

Gal 5:14-15
For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another.

Jas 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Do NOT go to the Internet, or to people on the Internet, for answers…call me, your God-given pastor!!!

Jn 10:3b
The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

“not man’s gospel” – Gal 1:11
Regardless of man’s opinion, the Gospel isn’t his; rather, it is God’s, it is the Spirit’s, it is Christ’s. Paul used very strong language in defense of this very truth.

1Th 5:9-10
For God has not destined us for wrath [ref: “predestination” ala Ro 8:29-30], but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him.
