OUTLINE:

Eternal Assurance
A believer’s life is perfectly secured in Christ Jesus. That person has been made alive in Christ, released from the bondage of spiritual death (Ro 6:3-11).

Assurance of Salvation Is By Grace Through Faith
As true believers, we have an abiding love and eagerness for Christ that unbelievers do not have (1Co 16:22; Php 3:20-21; 1 Jn 3:1-3).

Assurance of Salvation Is By Grace Through Faith
As true believers, we are given spiritual discernment (1Th 5:21; 1Ti 2:11-13; 6:3-6; 2Pe 3:14-16; 1Jn 2:12-19, 4:1-6).

Assurance of Salvation Is By Grace Through Faith
As true believers, we are acutely aware of God’s holiness and the presence/ power of sin and we are grateful for the God-given ability to confess/repent from it (Ro 7:14-25; 2Co 7:10; 1Jn 1).

Assurance of Salvation Is By Grace Through Faith
As true believers, as patterns of sin decrease, patterns of obedience increase (Jn 8:31; 1Jn 2:1-7).

Assurance of Salvation Is By Grace Through Faith
As true believers, “But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love” (1Co 13:13). We love God and others with a love previously unknown to us (Jn 13:35; 1Th 4:9; 1Jn 2:9-11; 3:16-19; 4:19).

Jn 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Posers are non- committal.

The Believer's Assurance
May we believers REST ASSURED, as we should, being in union forever with Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior!
Jn 14:1, 27 “Let not your hearts be troubled”

We Are Christ’s Bride
Christ has gone to prepare a home for His Bride (Jn 14:1-4), the Church (we believers). Those who were saved prior to the Church-Age will be there to celebrate our marriage in Heaven. (Rev 19:6-9)

Lyin’ Eyes
A person who supposes to accept Jesus’ hand in marriage but remains non-committal is refused by Christ at the altar. Jesus isn’t a “sugar daddy” for grace that will allow others to use/abuse Him. This concept seems to be lost on many professing “Christians” [aka profession (man’s words) isn’t always confession (man saying what God says)].
