OUTLINE:

Obedience
What begins at salvation, proper, with the command to obey the Gospel, continues throughout our lives as we are commanded to obey the Word (FYI - the same Holy Spirit that convicts us at salvation is the same One who convicts us as believers).

“If you love Me, you will keep my commandments” (Jn 14:15)
“Obedience of faith,” “humility,” and “meekness” all speak to the same thing - submission to the lordship of Christ. My friends, this is what love looks like (1Jn 5:3).

1Jn 5:3
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not
burdensome.

To Paul, obedience was the key to sanctification.

When we’re obedient, we’re confident.

Satanic lies produce the exact opposite of what they promise.

Jas 1:15
Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death. Sin (e.g. disobedience) take us back to spiritual death, experientially, which means we suffer.

The Power of Grace
Fleshly humans are OFFENDED by free gifts. Grace, therefore, as it is known in God’s economy, causes much consternation in the soul of the ungodly because it completely unhinges, dismantles, undermines, and destroys any hope of obtaining counterfeit promises from Satan’s economy.

Deceit
Gal 5:9 “A little leaven leavens the whole lump.” Counterfeits are most effective when they look the most authentic. Satan uses counterfeits to deceive us, mixing
the truth with lies.

Be Encouraged!
Eph 5:9, 13-14 for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true...But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light [the good, the bad, the ugly]. We must learn to differentiate between God’s economy and Satan’s. We are blessed when we do.

What good are all the riches in Heaven if you don't know how to spend them?

Php 3:8 [Amplified Classic]
Yes, furthermore, I count everything as loss compared to the possession of the priceless privilege (the overwhelming preciousness, the surpassing worth, and supreme advantage) of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord and of progressively becoming more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him [of perceiving and recognizing and understanding Him more fully and clearly]. For His sake I have lost everything and consider it all to be mere rubbish (refuse, dregs - skubalon - dung, also), in order that I may win (gain) Christ (the Anointed One).

Your Life Has Value
God has given each of us a gift called "life". It is our precious opportunity to bring glory to God on Earth. How shall we use it? How shall we "spend" our God-given resources? In which economy are we merchandising in? (Ref: Ro 12:1-2; 6:11-13)

Read your Bible!

Ps 19:8 The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
Ps 119:28 My soul weeps because of grief; Strengthen me according to Your word.
Ps 119:111 I have inherited Your testimonies [Your Word] forever, For they are the joy of my heart.

Why Read Your Bible?
The Word of God never returns empty handed (ala Is 55:11). It is perfect in its quest to set you free. It is, therefore, the greatest possible investment we can ever make with whatever precious resources God has given us (e.g., our soul, our time, our gratitude).

He Will Not Fail You (Josh 1:5; 1Ch 28:20)
"God is love" (1Jn 4:16)
"Love never fails" (1Co 13:8)
