It is difficult to get our arms around this. By the grace of God, He blesses us with spiritual sight, which changes us profoundly. We get to “see” Him while alive on Earth. We love Him in response (1Jn 4:19).

Php 3:8
Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.

Jas 1:7-8
For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded [dipsuchos] man, unstable in all his ways.

The Great Litmus Test
Is what you’re doing bring glory to God? Is what you’re planning for bringing glory to God? Are you storing up for yourself treasure on Earth or in Heaven? Whose glory do you seek?
