"Let Love Be Genuine"
Love pulls us to be honorable, forgiving, and to rise above the fleshly frays of life. And He has given us the power and grace to do so. Ro 12:9-21, 1Co 13:4-8

Jesus’ Litmus Test re: Love
What is love if it is only able to shine when it is present in others? Is that a godly love at all? (ref: Jn 3:16; 15:13)

After Being Nailed to the Cross:
And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.“ - Lk 23:34

Jesus Showed Us
True love is independent from the love of others… it is selfless (and not expecting anything in return).

2 Co 5:14-15
For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.

Godly love fulfills the whole law!
Ro 13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
Gal 5:14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Col 3:14 And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

Rejecting Identity Politics in Religion (Blog - 8/28/22)
Love will always trump hate. Good always triumphs over evil. We must have faith that God will tend to those acting satanically, especially those who are His children. Our best defense is to love those whose weaknesses manifest as divisiveness.

Is 53:7
He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth.

1 Jn 4:15-16
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

Eph 6:10-11
