Death is insurmountable...but not for Christ (who IS God).
Christ overcame death because you were incapable of it. And being baptized into union with Him at salvation means you have also been baptized into His death and resurrection!
If it weren’t for Christ’s resurrection, your faith would be in vain - you’d remain dead because Christ would’ve never overcome death, itself.

Here’s what the Bible teaches us. The “liking” part of working hard comes after we accept that God wants us to work hard. When we obey Him, He blesses us with a joy that transcends the work, itself. In the back of our minds, we cling to the simple fact that it’s the right thing to do. The driving factor isn’t that we like to work, it’s that we like the Lord.

Is what we’re thinking, saying, or doing (or about to) bringing glory to God?
Any “goodness” in God’s eyes comes from the obedience that comes from faith alone!
