• WELCOME

“But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”

    1 Timothy 1:5

  • Be Anxious For Nothing

The Word of God says, literally, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6). Notice that it doesn’t say, “Be anxious for some things,” it says nothing”.

  • Part 13: Why Are the Apostles So Encouraging? By Grace, They Were Prepared

The good thing is that Satan's system always ends in want, and it's very failure brings some people searching for the Lord and His simple truths.

  • Part 25: Why Are the Apostles So Encouraging? By Grace They Were Prepared

If our perspective is wrong, if our flesh is in control rather than the Spirit, our lives become very complicated, frustrating, and void of peace. We can fake it, but we’re only fooling ourselves. Surrender and be free!

Part 2: What Is Good? And Who Gets To Define It?

It is very sobering to analyze our own definitions for “good”. We might quickly realize that what we think and even act upon as “good” really isn’t. A good litmus test is to observe what we esteem/celebrate in ourselves/others.

KIDS' CORNER: Depravity

Most people do not want to believe this about themselves or their loved ones- the Truth isn’t “pleasant” to hear when you do not understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ, so they choose religion, which claims that “deep down” all people are good.

  • The words of the wise are like cattle prods--painful but helpful. Their collected sayings are like a nail-studded stick with which a shepherd drives the sheep. - Ecclesiastes 12:11 (NLT)
