OUTLINE:

Peace…everyone wants it…so few have it.

Jn 14:27
“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.

Faith
Whenever we read Holy Scripture regarding peace, there’s one thing that comes to mind - faith! Without faith, it’s impossible to enjoy the abundance of God’s grace gifts.

Eph 6:16
in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

Enjoying His Peace
The peace of God is experienced when we live in His purpose for us.

2 Tim 3:5
holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.

Faith
Here we have another faith issue: Do you believe God can use you for great things? And by faith, will you walk forward in the works He places before you? Eph 2:10

Walk By Faith
If you want His peace, then do as His Word has instructed you - “walk in a manner worthy of the Lord”. (e.g., Col 1:10)

The Believer's Walk
It's what he's been designed to do, after being saved by grace through faith, to walk by grace through faith in the works He has laid out before him. Eph 2:8-10

Walk By Faith
If you don’t like the simple fact that a true believer will produce works, by grace through faith, then you don’t like God’s grace…you like some perversion of it.

Walking by the Spirit
Philip was willing to walk in GOD'S plan for him, not his own. Act 8:5-13, 26-40

Faith
Faith allows the most undeserving, pathetic, weak individuals to step out.

Faith
It’s the one thing that allows mere man to reconcile otherwise incomprehensible realities of God, beginning with His salvation plan.

“the salvation of your souls”
This was the phrase Peter used to describe the result of having faith. Here, “salvation” means welfare, prosperity, deliverance, preservation, salvation, safety (Strong’s). Refers to the continual deliverance from the power of sin.

Eph 2:4-5
But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).
