The Millennium and Us
Church-Age believers will be in their resurrection bodies in the Millennium with Jesus. (1Co 15:51-52; Rev 19:11-14)
Courage
Courage is really nothing more than applied faith.
Courage
Faith produces courage in the slightest of men/women.
Heb 11:31
By faith Rahab the harlot did not perish along with those who were disobedient, after she had welcomed the spies in peace.
Faith & Works
Faith always produces works (eg: courage). Therefore, when true courage (“works”) is manifest in a believer, their faith is consummated (“perfected”) by having passed a test.
Applied Faith
Courage is simply an overt manifestation of the root cause of all good “works” - FAITH!
Blind Courage
Blind faith leads to blind courage. The individuals that flew airliners into buildings on 9/11/01 had great faith, therefore great courage. Since their faith was wrong, their courage was wrong.
Blind Courage
Unless it’s the Lord that’s leading you, you are walking in the wrong direction, making decisions to support that walk, and justifying all of it by falsely claiming you’re being led by the Spirit towards the will of God.
Deu 31:8
“The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
The Lord Leads
To go “ahead of you” means that the Lord promises to prepare a place for you wherever He’s called you to. That place may never be reached because of NVTD, however, that’s not a breech of a promise, but rather a breech of humility in you.
1st vs 2nd Order Deliverance
When we execute against God’s promises, He guarantees blessings, however it’s our faith in His promises prior to the granting of the blessings that produce the greatest evidence in the A.C.
Global Rebellion
The fact that Satan is able “to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth” reveals the general, cancerous nature of the flesh and it’s malcontent as a result of being minus a relationship with God.
Blaming Environment
"Of course I turned out the way I did. Did you see the family I came from?” or “Did you see the neighborhood I grew up in?" The Millennium proves that the problem is within US, not with our environments!
Revolution Is Organized Rebellion
The grass roots of revolution is often chaotic rebellion until leadership congeals it into a force with purpose and direction.
“to gather”
from sunago – means to concentrate; refers to Gog (Satan) directing Magog (his rebellious followers) into a tremendous, organized mob against the ruler of the Millennium (TLJC)
Dissatisfaction
NVTD destroys capacity for life, blessings, prosperity, and happiness.
“they came upon”
from anabaino – refers to a very aggressive advance; it has a military connotation that refers to marching; implies tremendous organization under Satan’s leadership
Coup d'état (French)
The sudden, illegal deposition of a government, usually by a small group of the existing state establishment—typically the military—to replace the deposed government with another body; either civil or military.
Violence As a Last Resort
Those who resort to violence to settle an argument have most often first lost the non-violent argument.
“surrounded”
from kukleuo – means to surround or envelop; aggression is implied here to indicate tactical advantage
The Lone Fallen Angel
Since the rest of the fallen angels are still incarcerated, Satan must act alone in his deceiving the nations. Therefore, any “spiritual adultery” by man is directly tied to Satan, himself during the Millennium.
“fire”
from pur – generally translates as “fire” but also approximates something with properties of fire; the absence of the definite article emphasizes the quality of our Lord’s weapon; it is supernatural and is wielded by our Lord, Himself
“they came upon”
from anabaino – refers to a very aggressive advance; it has a military connotation that refers to marching; implies tremendous organization under Satan’s leadership
“came down”
from katabaino – refers to the overpowering advance of our Lord in response to the aggressive advance of Satan’s attack; the revolution is destroyed as a result
Dealing With Violence
One important point here is that spirituality doesn’t always mean you lay down and die when attacked! Violence may be necessary to achieve whatever plan has been set before you.
God’s Grace Protects
As long as God has a plan for you, His grace will provide protection for your life.
