The Doctrine of Idolatry – Part 80: Spiritual Adultery With Demons – Part 41
January 22, 2012

OUTLINE:

Tribulation Evangelism
  • The 144,000 Jews (Rev 7:4-8)
  • Their converts (Rev 7:9-17)
  • The two witnesses (Rev 11:3-14)
  • The angel with the everlasting gospel (Rev 14:6-7)

Our God of Integrity
The whole world will be evangelized in a concentrated manner in order to uphold the divine integrity of God. The Baptism of Fire is at the end of the Tribulation, which assignment to is only fair if the Gospel is available first.

The Eternal Gospel
The integrity of God demands that the Gospel is preached to the 4 corners of the globe prior to passing any final judgment on the unbelievers!

Historical Record of Demon Activity
The Bible records increased demon activity during specific times in history:
  • The 1st Advent of TLJC (Rev 12:1-5)
  • The Tribulation Period (Mat 24:4-28; Rev 6-19)
  • The End of the Millennium (Rev 20:7-10)

Hades Compartments
  • Paradise (Luke 16:22)
  • Torments (Luke 16:23)
  • Tartarus (2Pe 2:4; Gen 6)
  • The Abyss (Rev 9:1-12)

Rev 20:5 [reordered]
This is the first resurrection. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed.

Rejecting Christ
Even under perfect leadership (TLJC), people will join Satan’s army to oppose “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6) while manifest in the flesh!

No Army
There won’t be an established army during the Millennium, so when Satan deceives the nations and creates an army opposing Christ, there’s no human army to defend the believers!

Divine Protection
As occurred with Moses, the Lord will deliver believers from the threat of danger. Exo 14:14 “The LORD will fight for you while you keep silent.”

Faith Guarantees Victory
God doesn’t need numbers, only faith! By faith, Gideon defeated the Midianites “as numerous as locusts” with only 300 soldiers! (Judges 7)

John 11:9
There was no danger as long as He was doing the Father’s will, walking in the light.

Our Lord’s Victories
Our battles, whether large or small, are won before they are even begun because they are not ours to win, but rather our Lord’s. We simply exercise faith in this Truth in order to be delivered from our battles.

Victory Demands Leadership
Someone must always be willing to step out on faith when beckoned by the Commander-in-chief, our Lord. If He calls on you, then His authority and power have already been vested in you for victory. Faith must answer the call.

Joshua’s Leadership Example
  • Humble: he knew he wasn’t Moses
  • Authority-Oriented: he was a tremendous follower first
  • Faithful: he had integrity to the Word
  • Strategist: he possessed sound military prowess
  • Practical: he was a sound, dynamic administrator
