OUTLINE:

The Value of Testing

“being rooted”
from rhizoo – the intensive perfect tense means the action has been completed with results continuing on; the action is the formation of epignosis; the believer has a root system in Christ (eg: His mind)

“grounded”
from themelioo – means to lay a foundation; the refers to the edification complex in the soul (ECS); coupled with rhizoo means the root system is anchored to solid ground (SoT)

Rooted and Grounded In Love
In this, as its proper soil, it grows. On this, as its only foundation, it rests.

Eph 3:17 [expanded]
That the Christ may dwell [be at home in] your hearts [right lobes] through doctrine; in the sphere of love, after having been rooted and after having received the foundation.

“Do you have capacity for love?”

Capacity for Love
You will possess capacity for love IF (3rd class condition) you have positive volition towards doctrine (PVTD). “If you keep My commandments…” (John 15:10).

“joy”
from chara – refers to the H+ of God that has existed eternally and is shared with man through the 2SPO’s; this is the same joy expressed by love that motivated TLJC to go all the way to the Cross

Luke 1:14
“You [Zacharias] will have joy [chara] and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth [ref: John the Baptist]. There is “joy” as it is connect to the miracle of life; the miracle of birth!

Luke 15:10
“In the same way, I tell you, there is joy [chara] in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” There is great “joy” over repentance.

John 3:29
“He who has the bride [the Church] is the bridegroom[TLJC]; but the friend of the bridegroom [John the Baptist], who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. So this joy [chara] of mine has been made full. There is “joy” associated with the mutual undertakings with the Lord regarding the Gospel.

John 16:24
“Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy [chara] may be made full. There is “joy” that relates to having our prayers answered as they orient towards the great commission of Gospel, proper!

Acts 8:7-8
For in the case of many who had unclean spirits, they were coming out of them shouting with a loud voice; and many who had been paralyzed and lame were healed. So there was much rejoicing [chara] in that city. There is “joy” as it relates to miracles!

Rom 14:17
for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy [chara] in the Holy Spirit. There is “joy” as it relates to the ministry of the Holy Spirit. (ala “fruit of the Spirit” – Gal 5:22-23)

Rom 15:23
so that I may come to you in joy [chara] by the will of God and find refreshing rest in your company. There is “Joy” as it relates to sharing the H+ of God for the mature believer.

2Co 2:3
This is the very thing I wrote you, so that when I came, I would not have sorrow from those who ought to make me rejoice; having confidence in you all that my joy [chara] would be the joy of you all. There is divine joy as something sourced by God but shared with all those with BD!

2Co 7:4
Great is my confidence in you; great is my boasting on your behalf. I am filled with comfort; I am overflowing [hyperperisseuo] with joy [chara] in all our affliction. There is “joy” that hyper-overflows as a result of BD being cast out front at “all affliction” (ala Heb 12:2… “for the joy set before Him…”).

1Th 3:9
For what thanks can we render to God for you in return for all the joy [chara] with which we rejoice before our God on your account. There is “joy” for communicators of doctrine amongst those with PVTD.

Carrying Our Own Cross
The joy set before our Lord in Heb 12:2 the same root source that we must have developed in us so that we, too, can bear our own cross!

“he must deny”
from aparneomai – means he must deny righteous self, and renounce all his own works of righteousness; this refers to areas of human good (ala fruit from the TKGE)

“take up his cross daily”
refers to the fact that we are commanded to produce divine good as a function of the 2SPO’s; it’s impossible for us to pick up our cross if we are functioning outside of the DPG

Mat 16:26– Ill Profit
To “gain the whole world” is to adopt an evil SoT. The cost of doing so for the unbeliever is the Lake of Fire. The cost of doing so for the believer is loss of blessings in time and rewards at the Bema Seat.

John 15:17
“This I command you, that you love one another.”

The Command to Love
Our Great Shepherd commands that we love one another because He is protecting His sheep! Virtue love protects the POSSESSOR of it! 1Cor. 13:8 Love never fails (you)!

High On Life
Learn to be intoxicated with this grace gift called “life”…be drunk on BD, chug it down, be enamored with it, love it, embrace it, and all the while be ever so grateful for being set free by it!

The Command to Love

Faith & Love
To have faith is to have love because God is love! 1Jo 4:8 The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

“make”
from poieo – means to make something out of something; when we come face-to-face (“come to”)with Him, He manufactures something out of something

“abode”
from mone – means a mansion; refers to the edification complex in the soul (ECS)

AC Appeal Trial Evidence
Faith in the legitimate working object in the soul (His Word) is what manufactures evidence for the prosecution. Evidence remains locked up as potential energy until its power is revealed through testing.
