• WELCOME

“But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”

    1 Timothy 1:5

  • KIDS' CORNER: Walk By the Spirit

We must learn what the Holy Spirit desires (the Spirit, Himself, teaches us), set our minds on it (He helps with this, too), and then walk by the Spirit (He empowers this, also) so we may avoid sinning.

  • Part 2: "Peace Be With You!"

It's a daily opportunity; the Lord wants us to know we can't do this without Him, ever, so He has designed life so that a daily reliance on Him is needed to experience His peace.

  • KIDS' CORNER: Jesus Christ, the Chief Cornerstone

In ancient building practices, the cornerstone was the principal or most important stone placed at the corner of the building. The cornerstone was usually one of the largest, most solid, and the most carefully constructed stones of any in the building. Jesus describes Himself as the Cornerstone that His Church would be built upon...

Part 3: Perspective - It's a Privilege To Serve the Lord

God, he loves his father. He doesn’t know what the word ‘intoxication’ means yet - that’ll be how he describes his boyhood relationship with his father when he has children of his own...

Life can quickly become filled to the point of exhaustion. And for many, that’s as far as it goes.

But what about Jesus?…insert sound of scratching record*…

  • A gentle answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger. (Proverbs 15:1)

  • "So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls." (James 1:21 - NLT)

  • "For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." (1 Corinthians 1:18)

  • "The grass withers and the flowers fade  but the word of our God stands forever” (Isaiah 40:8).

  • The words of the wise are like cattle prods--painful but helpful. Their collected sayings are like a nail-studded stick with which a shepherd drives the sheep. - Ecclesiastes 12:11 (NLT)
