• WELCOME

“But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”

    1 Timothy 1:5

  • Salvation Is Not a Destination

In many ways, salvation is better thought of as “coming from” somewhere (the slave market of sin) rather than “going to” somewhere (Heaven). The real issue is sin, not the final destination.

  • American Dating Is a Counterfeit

God tells us to “abhor what is evil; cling to what is good” (Ro 12:9b). He tells us to run away from youthful lusts (e.g., impure sexual thoughts - sins begin as thoughts, remember). Avoid impurity is the gist, and to “do all to the glory of God” (1Co 10:31).

  • Part 6: What Is Good? And Who Gets To Define It?

Inconsistency and lies ruin trust. A person who speaks consistently and reliably holds up a certain integrity to their essence. God is our perfect example.

Part 3: What is Good? And Who Gets To Define It?

Our God is truly good, in all His intentions and actions. He reveals Himself to man, with great grace and patience, in hopes that man repents and sees the Light of Jesus Christ, and spends eternity with Him forever.

Part 2: What Is Good? And Who Gets To Define It?

It is very sobering to analyze our own definitions for “good”. We might quickly realize that what we think and even act upon as “good” really isn’t. A good litmus test is to observe what we esteem/celebrate in ourselves/others.

The Bible Is God's Testimony

All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

— 2 Timothy 3:16-17
