• WELCOME

“But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”

    1 Timothy 1:5

  • The Last One In Syndrome

Why are we ever shocked that someone else doesn’t “see” all that we see? And why, pray tell, are others so upset with us for not “getting it” sometimes? Even worse, why do we express said shock in the presence of the immature? What’s the purpose…nay, what’s the fruit of it???

  • Nutrition and Ingredients Labels

The Bible not only gives us everything we need to be well-nourished, healthy disciples of Christ, it also comes with an easy-to-read nutrition and ingredients label, something I’m learning to appreciate the older I get.

  • Man Wrote It, But God Authored the Bible

Skeptics may cry, “To err is human!” In this thing, they are positively correct. Thank God the Bible was not “made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21).

Part 2: Settling In On the Big Picture

Though very difficult at times, we must understand the Father's discipline upon us is not judgment, but it's from a good good Father training up His child, and therefore at times that requires His refining fire.

A Woman's Touch

A woman’s touch, especially in a home, is real. You can call it whatever you’d like - that’s not important - but, you’d better recognize it for what it is - grace.

Part 2 - Why Are the Apostles So Encouraging? - Jesus Chose Them

In light of 1Th 5:16-18 (and a multitude of scripture), we must think of prayer as an integral part of the whole. Without prayer, the whole could not exist/function. Rejoicing, praying, and thanksgiving are borne of one root, therefore they increase/exist simultaneously.

Daily Perspective

  • Acts 26:17-18 [Amplified] [choosing you for Myself and] rescuing you from the Jewish people and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending you, to open their [spiritual] eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness and release from their sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified (set apart, made holy) by faith in Me.’

  • "For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear this beautifully" (2 Corinthians 11:4).

  • "Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them" (Hebrews 7:25).

  • It's not a pastor's job to solve your problems; rather, it's his job to lead you back to Christ, whose Spirit is able to powerfully solve all problems, beginning with salvation.

  • The Golden Rule:  “Treat others the same way you want them to treat you" (Luke 6:31).

  • Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? - Luke 6:46
