• WELCOME

“But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”

    1 Timothy 1:5

  • A Punch To the Throat

It’s true, I have spikes of anger that boil over into words that seem a bit over the top. But am I the only viable pastor that has ever done such a thing? May I find encouragement somewhere in the Bible? The answer, thank God, is “yes”.

  • KIDS' CORNER: Self-Examination

In Prep school we learned that Jonah was in the belly of the big fish for 3 days and 3 nights. God placed him there so Jonah could examine his thoughts and actions, then repent (admit he sinned and make the decision to obey God).

  • Part 27: Why Are the Apostles So Encouraging? By Grace They Were Prepared

Mere humanity cannot even understand the depths of God’s patience due to the fact that mankind is unable to understand all the ways that God withholds warranted discipline.

Part 2: The Peace And Stability From Honoring God's Authority

Even though the flesh kicks against this, those who submit to the Word (Jesus Christ), and His Spirit, are comforted by His authority, and by all authority being from God. God will even use unfair authorities for our ultimate benefit, if we humble ourselves before them.

History Repeats Itself

History repeats itself. This isn’t merely an assertion made by historians. I think most of us will agree there is truth in that statement, based on our own experimentation. Nowhere is this more magnified than in the enduring Word of God...
